painted black and red,
leaped out the window

those bright shining pearls,
he'll pass by

The shepherd broke his staff;
the flock will never last
till' winter
ends.
And all his servant boys,
with their new shiny toys -
they're never coming
back.

just what they lack.

Every poet's dream,
broken at the seams
till' the screen goes
black.
The pens of all the greats,
inking out in haste at the
cemetary
gate,

cuz' they all came,
they're never looking back.

The king that lost his crown;
it shattered on the ground
and the jester took his
prize,
and all those servant girls,
fumbling for the pearls while
the men wait
inside,

Cuz' they don't know
who else to fight.
